Xiaomi launched the Redmi note 3 today in India, it is the sequel to the plastic-made Redmi Note 2, which Xiaomi launched just three months ago. It houses a octa-core snapdragon 650, 2-3GB RAM, 4050mAH battery and more....But lets see how it competes with its biggest rival till date the LeEco Le 1s in the detailed comparison below.
Design
Both of the handsets are good looking but Le 1s is slimmer and and more comfortable to hold than Redmi Note 3, both of the phones are made of metal but the in hand feel of Le 1s is definitely better than the Redmi note 3 (according to me). Both of the phones have 3 touch type capacitive buttons at the bottom (recent, home and back) which are also back-lit. They also have fingerprint sensors at the back. Unlike Redmi Note 3, Le 1s have USB type C port which is a sort of future proof.
Display
On paper Redmi Note 3 and Le 1s sports a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection but, the display of Redmi Note 3 is more crisp and bright than Le 1s thanks to is Sunlight Display Feature.
Performance and OS
The Redmi Note 3 sports a new processor from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 650 which uses the latest ARM cortex A72 cores. Xiaomi claims that these cores will boost the gaming performance but also prevents the device from heating. Camera
Redmi Note 3 has an 16MP, F2.0, 5-Lens rear camera with PDAF(Phase Detection Auto Focus) which allows you to focus on the nearby objects in just 0.1 seconds and Duel tone flash and its also have two ISPs for processing the photos taken on the phone. On the other hand Le 1s sports a high-definition 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash. The camera has an F2.0 aperture and is capable of 0.09 seconds
fast focus. It achieves 6x digital zoom and records 4K/1080p videos. Both handsets have 5MP front camera.Conclusion
Both these products are great with respect to their performance, design and features. It is very difficult to choose a winner between these two competitors .
